Wednesday - Oct. 29 - Bear season meets pumpkin season

Plus, Langley Job’s Daughters celebrates 60 years of empowering young women.

Fraser Valley Current

Good morning!

Lydia, a reader in Hope–and member of the Hope Mountain Black Bear Committee–wrote in with a timely reminder for this Halloween weekend—be careful where you leave your pumpkins this week. In some parts of the Fraser Valley, bears are known to wander through neighbourhoods in search of an easy snack. Consider bringing your pumpkins inside overnight, and remember to compost or donate them properly after Halloween.
