Good morning!

In today’s issue, we’re covering the Archway Community Contributor Awards, celebrating the individuals and organizations making a real difference across Abbotsford. We’ve also rounded up more events happening around the Valley this week.

We’re also hoping to spotlight more reader tips—the small goings-on around town that deserve a wider audience. To make that easier, we’re trying to name this new section, and we’d love your help choosing what it should be called.

We’ll share the results immediately so you can see exactly what the community picked. Complete the poll below 👇🏾

Archway honours Fraser Valley community contributors

Archway Community Services recognized seven local individuals and organizations earlier this month at its annual Community Builders’ Awards, held November 6 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium. The event highlighted long-time volunteers, emerging leaders, and organizations that support Archway programs or contribute to Abbotsford’s broader social infrastructure.

“Tonight, we are recognizing 16 amazing individuals and organizations who strengthen the fabric of our community,” said Rod Santiago, Archway’s chief executive officer, according to materials shared by Archway. “We know our community would not be the same without you.”
