Community support helps deliver new diagnostic equipment to Abbotsford hospital

A big win for local health care: The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation marked its 25th birthday with a gala that turned out to be more than just a fancy night out. Guests helped raise nearly $300,000—enough to fully fund a new diagnostic unit for Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Lung cancer affects hundreds of people here each year, and this machine means fewer long waits and fewer trips out of the region for answers.
