Fraser Valley federal election results

Conservatives have been elected in four Fraser Valley ridings and are leading in a fifth after a dramatic federal election night.

The Conservatives look set to sit in opposition, but the Liberals may need to cobble together a coalition to stay in power.

Conservatives Tako Van Popta, Brad Vis, and Mark Strahl all won re-election, while newcomer Sukhman Gill easily won his seat in one of the province’s most-closely watched races. As we send this out, Conservative Tamara Jansen leads in Cloverdale—Langley City, but the race is still relatively tight, with Liberal Kyle Latchford less than 1,000 votes behind and more polls left to be counted.
