Good morning!

Last week, I wrote about Super Farmer, the quirky Polish agricultural game my kids had received for Christmas. A lot of readers were interestedā€”and, like me, wondering where you could get it in Canada. At the time, Walmartā€™s website suggested they had sold the game, but none were in stock. There are now apparently copies you can buy through the retailer although, to be honest, the price is more than Iā€™d want to pay for what is a very simple game. One reader has a different approach altogether: getting a relative travelling to Poland to hunt it down.

If youā€™re looking for a card game thatā€™s half the price and has more re-playability, you might want to try Mantis. Itā€™s widely available online and your local board game store will probably have it. On the downside, you donā€™t have an excuse to check out Gdansk.

Next month. That is when members of the public could finally get a chance to go inside Langleyā€™s long-awaited salishan Place by the River.

The museum was supposed to open nearly two years ago, but has been delayed by construction ā€œdeficienciesā€ longer than expected.

The Agenda

Spots at Rolley Lakeā€™s campground can now be booked ahead of time. šŸ“· BC Parks

Rolley Lake camp spots can now be reserved; May long weekend reservations open tomorrow

People planning to go camping on the May long weekend will be able to reserve a spot at Rolley Lake for the first time tomorrow.

The Rolley Lake campground, located northwest of Mission, has long been a first-come-first-serve camping space. The province spent $2 million to upgrade the campground last summer, adding 17 new walk-in tent sites and upgrading a day-use shelter and providing new picnic tables, bike racks, and bear-proof storage.

Now, the upgraded campground is being included in BCā€™s online reservation system for provincial campgrounds, which allows people to book sites at certain campgrounds four months in advance. Reservations for the May long weekendā€”at Rolley Lake and other provincial parks around BCā€”open at 7am on Wednesday. You can find the reservation website here.

Other local campgrounds that can be reserved ahead of time include Cultus Lake Provincial Park, Sasquatch Provincial Park, SxĢ±Ć³tsaqel (Chilliwack Lake) Provincial Park, and Skagit Valley Provincial Park.

Townhouse complex proposed for Jehovahā€™s Witnesses property

Trio Architecture has applied for rezoning and a development permit to allow it to build a 30-unit townhouse complex in western Abbotsford, according to online records.

The complex would be located at the southwest corner of the Maclure Road and Townline Hill road intersection on a block of properties now occupied by six detached homes and a Jehovah Witnesses hall.

The rezoning will need to be approved by council before the project proceeds.
