With the Abbotsford-Mission byelection set for September 26, voters will have a chance to hear directly from the candidates this evening.

The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce is hosting a live-streamed candidates' debate this evening from 5 to 6:30 PM. All registered candidates have been invited to participate, and the debate will be moderated by Dr. Hamish Telford, an associate professor of political science at the University of the Fraser Valley and a frequent commentator on B.C. and Canadian politics.

The Chamber is hosting the event as a non-partisan forum, with a focus on economic, business, and community issues facing the riding. The debate will be produced as a digital event with no in-person audience — community members are encouraged to watch the live broadcast on the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce YouTube channel.
