Chilliwack RCMP have seized suspected illicit drugs, cash, and a firearm following a drug trafficking investigation on Victor Street. Officers with the Crime Reduction Unit executed search warrants at two adjacent properties on September 17, after gathering evidence following an initial tip about one of the residences.

Police detained 23 people at the scene during the warrant execution. All were later released pending further investigation, except for two individuals held in custody on outstanding warrants unrelated to the case.

Investigators seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, along with cash and a firearm. Chilliwack Bylaw also attended both properties and posted No Occupancy notices as a preventative measure to keep people from returning.

The investigation is ongoing, and any charges will depend on further investigation and approval from the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.
