The Chilliwack Cultural Centre's Queer Arts Festival is back for its second year, running from October 3 through Halloween with a lineup of performances, markets, and community events celebrating LGBTQ2S+ voices.

The festival opens October 3 with Clay & Coffee, a social night hosted with Health Initiative for Men at Harvest Café, where guests can paint and carve clay tiles over coffee. Myth Valley Studio joins the festival this year with an exhibition called Shining with Colours running October 21 to November 1, along with a Celebrate Love paint night on October 27 and an Arts Wellness writing session on October 23.

Drag in the Wack returns October 23 with host Cale Tian as Wan-Ting Moi leading two performances, paired with a Queer Night Market where local artisans sell handmade goods, free for the public to browse.

The festival continues October 27 with Spill the Tea Party, an open discussion panel bringing together creators and community voices, followed by a Queer Clothing Swap on October 28.

Things turn spooky on October 30 with the return of Art of Halloween, a costume-friendly evening of cocktails, pizza, and comedic cabaret with the Valley Babes. The festival closes out on Halloween itself with a costume screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, followed by Sonic Bark's fourth annual Halloween party at Sidekick Brewing.
