Good morning,

Halloween isn’t the only thing happening at the farm this weekend. Greendale Acres is hosting a big bonfire party and country music concert on Sunday, November 1, with live music, a pumpkin smash, and the Boo Express train. The corn maze goes quiet after that, so it’s a good excuse to get out there.

Once the costumes are put away, the calendar doesn’t empty out. Below you’ll find a few events for the first week of November, including Mozart’s Requiem in Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley Writers Festival at UFV.

Greendale Acres is hosting a Big Bonfire Party and Country Music Concert on Sunday, November 1, running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Great Big Bonfire burns all day on the Great Lawn, and the Big Pumpkin Smash runs all day out in the field. There’s live music from Adam Cebula from 2 to 4 p.m. and Morgan Griffiths from 4 to 6 p.m., and the Boo Express train is running too, at $3 a ride or $5 for unlimited rides. Tickets are available through a link on the farm’s poster.

The farm says its corn maze goes quiet after Sunday, and its Christmas farm experience won’t be open this year. The farm shop will stay open through the holiday season, though, and farm shop merch and goods will also be at the Vintage Barn Market on November 6, 7, and 8. The farm says more details are coming.
