June 22-23: Sasquatch Days is back in Harrison on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23. Head down to the waterfront for canoe races, a salmon BBQ, and a Sasquatch procession. Details online.

June 22: Join the Bez Arts Hub in Langley for its Juneteenth Community Festival on Saturday, June 22. The Juneteenth is a historic celebration of freedom, and will be marked with live music, room for dancing, food and drinks, and a gathering that aims to educate, empower and embrace the diversity of the Black community in this region. June 25: The Chilliwack Community Band will host its season finale concert at Cooke’s Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, June 25. Admission is by donation. Details online.

June 22: Join the Fraser Valley Conservancy for a family-friendly walk at McKee Park in Abbotsford on Saturday, June 22. Learn the names of our native plants and hunt for sneaky critters. Details online.

June 22: The Agassiz Library is hosting a Dungeons and Dragons game on Saturday, June 22. Registration is required. Details online.

June 24: Abbotsford’s Old Yale Brewing hosting Lyrical Genius Trivia on Monday, June 24 at 6pm. Registration starts at 5pm; trivia starts at 6pm. Details online.

June 21: Central Community Park in Chilliwack hosts a free yoga class on Friday, June 21 at 6pm. The event is geared towards all levels and ages. Bring a yoga mat, water, and a donation to the foodbank.

June 22: The Vancouver Bandits host the Ottawa Black Jacks for the team’s Indigenous Celebration Game on Saturday, June 22. Tickets online.

June 23: Agassiz's Homestead Cider is hosting a Sip and Stretch yoga session on Sunday, June 23. Enjoy a yoga class and the included flight of cider. Tickets online.

June 21: Sasquatch researcher Thomas Steenburg will be at Harrison's Sasquatch Museum on Friday, June 21 from 10am to 4pm. Details online.

June 22: The Yale Historic Site is hosting its first Canyon of Cultures Festival on Saturday, June 22 from noon until 4pm. Head up the canyon to celebrate the diverse cultures found in Yale. Details online.

June 21: Chillcouture: Shxwthit’awkw’ will be at the Shxwá:y Cultural Centre on Friday, June 21, for an evening of Indigenous fashion, music, and art. Tickets online.

June 22: A guided paint night for young adults grieving a loss will be at Abbotsford’s Open Space on Saturday, June 22 from 11am to 2pm. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Details online.

June 22-23: The third annual Hope Art Crawl returns on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 from 10am to 4pm each day. Brochures with maps are available at the Hope Visitor Centre to show where to find potters, painters, textile artists, woodcrafters, and more. Details online.

June 22: The cast of Very Very Improv Theatre takes to the Bez Arts Hub in Langley on Saturday, June 22 at 8pm with comedy improv games and long-form improv. At 10pm Very Very Academy students take to the stage to show off their improv skills. Tickets online.

June 22: The City of Abbotsford is inviting people to Go Play Outside. Free drop-in activities will be in select Abbotsford parks each Saturday in the summer. This Saturday, the event will be at Mill Lake Park on Emerson Street. Details online.

June 23: Chilliwack-Kent MLA Kelli Paddon is hosting a family fun day at Veder River Park on Sunday, June 23. The event will showcase local non-profits, and include kids games, a free hot dog BBQ, and a bike tune up station. Details online.

June 20-22: The Hope Library’s Big Book Sale returns this week until Saturday, June 22. Bring a bag and choose from an assortment of children’s, teen, and adult books for $5 a big. Proceeds go to support library initiatives. Details online.

June 22-23: Ducks Unlimited Canada is hosting the 2024 Duck and Run in Abbotsford to raise money and awareness for wetlands in Canada. Take part in a 5km or 1km run on Sunday, June 23, or a virtual challenge. Register online.
