🌦️ High 13C

Good morning,

B.C. woke up to a very different political landscape this weekend. Premier David Eby called the provincial election, and the Conservatives, led by Lorne Doerkson, won a majority. Eby has since stepped down as NDP leader.

The Fraser Valley went fully blue, electing 10 Conservative MLAs and taking every riding in the region. CBC has a map that shows how far the blue wave reached across the province.

Also in today’s Current, Abbotsford has a new city manager, with Mark Neill stepping into the role. You’ll find that story below, along with a few Halloween events to put on your calendar.
