The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and Abbotsford News have announced the nominees for the 30th annual Business Excellence Awards, which recognize local businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profits.

Nominees span 13 categories, from home-based businesses and agriculture to tourism, Indigenous business, and non-profit of the year. Among those named are Flair Airlines, the Abbotsford International Airshow Society, Farmhouse Brewing, and the BC Blueberry Council.

"Abbotsford's business community continues to raise the bar," said Alex Mitchell, CEO of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce. He said the nominees are creating jobs, investing in the community, and building organizations that strengthen the local economy.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Centre on November 12.
