The Conservatives have swept the Fraser Valley, from Langley to the Fraser Canyon. With only a handful of polls left to report, The Current decision-desk has declared a Conservative win for each of the nine ridings. Chilliwack’s Conservative candidates have swept the city. In Chilliwack North and Chilliwack-Cultus Lake, Heather Maahs and Á’a:líya Warbus had sizeable leads with the vast majority of polls reporting.
In Chilliwack North, Maahs led by more than 3,000 votes with all advance voting ballot boxes and 15 of 16 final voting day ballot boxes having been counted.
In Chilliwack-Cultus Lake, Warbus led by more than 2,000 votes. Four of six advance ballot boxes and 14 of 15 final-day ballot boxes had been reported.
In the sprawling Fraser-Nicola riding, Tony Luck has garnered more than half of votes and had a healthy lead, but only around half of ballot boxes had been counted.
