The Conservatives have swept the Fraser Valley, from Langley to the Fraser Canyon. With only a handful of polls left to report, The Current decision-desk has declared a Conservative win for each of the nine ridings. BC’s agriculture minister looks to have lost her seat in Abbotsford-Mission.

With all advance ballot boxes counted and 15 of 16 final-day boxes counted, BC Conservative Reann Gasper led the NDP’s Pam Alexis by more than 2,000 votes.

Elsewhere in the Abbotsford area, Conservative candidates won by even greater margins in Abbosford South and Abbotsford West. Incumbent Bruce Banman garnered more than 60% of votes in Abbotsford South, with only two ballot boxes yet to be counted. In Abbotsford West, Korky Neufeld had posted a similar tally with 15 of 16 final-day ballot boxes counted and half of advance polls reported.
