The director of the Nicolas Cage smash horror movie Longlegs will be in the valley this month for a special showing of his flick at the Chilliwack Independent Film Festival.

Director Osgood Perkins will take audience questions after the showing of his film on Nov. 22 at the Cottonwood Cinema. Perkins will also take part in a behind-the-scenes industry talk the following day at Cowork Chilliwack. Tickets for both events cost around $13.

The three-day film festival returns to the Cottonwood later this month. Among the events are a collection of six films, all produced by young Chilliwack filmmakers—Daniel Crabb, Zoe Ellis, Abigail Mascher, Kael Christopher Alan Gough-Johnson, Mason Thomas Fraser, Josiah John Williamson, Nate Ross, and Daniel Walker.
