Langley’s Shortreed Elementary under construction

Students at Langley’s Shortreed Community Elementary will be learning in a construction zone this year, as seismic upgrades get underway. Four portables have been installed at the school to offer “swing space” for students as their classrooms are upgraded. The $8.9-million project is expected to be completed in 2023.
