The Current’s 2022 municipal election hub
What you need to know about the 2022 municipal election in all the Fraser Valley communities: Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, and more.
On October 15, residents from the Fraser Valley’s nine communities will head out to their respective voting stations to decide who will lead each of their communities for the next four years.
Although not as high-profile as provincial or federal elections, the stakes are real. Mayors, city councillors, electoral area directors, and school board trustees all have the ability to change the course of a community’s future—and alter the region as well.
In the lead-up to the election, we’ll be sharing stories about the different issues each community is facing at the polls, along with candidate surveys and other important voting information. You can find our election hubs for each Fraser Valley community below.
