Vedder River Brewing is set to open a manufacturing facility next to the Vedder Bridge in June of next year, and is hoping to be able to serve beer as well. The brewery has made an application to the province to add a 130-seat lounge area with upper and lower patios to allow for draught tastings. They are also hoping to include a retail space to sell growlers, crowlers, bottles, and merchandise.

A public information meeting on the project is set for Nov. 16.
